The holidays are just around the corner and this is usually a time of festivity where most of us would be cheerful and excited as we travel around to visit with families. However, due to the times that we are in right now, some of you may have halted all travel plans in an effort to celebrate in a safe and socially distant manner.
If you are in states like California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Washington and a few more where businesses are mostly closed and gatherings are prohibited or limited with curfews enforced; it may be challenging to plan and host a party, event or wedding. If you have also been invited to an event, you may be conflicted on whether you want to attend or not, putting your safety and that of others in mind.
If you are a host or a couple planning an event in these upcoming months, I will share some tips on how to effectively plan for more declines than usual. If you got invited to attend a function as a guest and don’t feel comfortable attending, I will also share tips on how to respectfully decline the invite without feeling obligated to attend against your safety comfort.
