Theme: All Shades of Blue – Chic, Cultural, and Glamorous

There are certain moments in life that remind you just how powerful love, friendship, and celebration can be. Titi’s surprise 40th birthday party was one of those moments, a joyful explosion of love, laughter, and luxury blue vibes planned for a queen who truly deserved it.

We were honored to plan this unforgettable experience with 120 of Titi’s closest family and friends right here in Frisco, Texas—and even more honored that it came full circle. Two years ago, Titi hired Touch of Jewel Events to plan her husband’s surprise 40th. So when he called us this year to return the favor, we didn’t blink twice.

There’s something so beautiful about being invited into the inner circle of celebration, especially when it’s someone you’ve called a friend for over a decade. Planning this event felt personal. From the early concept to the very last dance, every detail was crafted with love, precision, and an intentional nod to Titi’s signature style—bold, graceful, and always fabulous.


Inspired by Titi’s favorite color, we curated an “All Shades of Blue” design theme. Think rich navy, royal cobalt, shimmering ice blue, and soft pastel accents—all layered together for an elevated and cohesive experience.

The decor featured:
Luxe florals in tonal blues
Gold and acrylic accents for warmth and depth
Custom stationery and signage with ombré blue tones
A mirror photobooth station for guests to capture memories in style


This celebration wasn’t just beautiful—it was a full-on sensory experience:

Interactive Live Band led by a 6-piece group that serenaded and engaged guests all night

DJ Expression, a celebrity favorite, kept the energy high and the dance floor packed

Abula Station offering traditional favorites like amala, gbegiri, and ewedu—because no Yoruba party is complete without it

Full Nigerian buffet with a diverse and flavorful menu, crafted to please every palate

African-inspired mocktail bar with handcrafted drinks that were both stunning and refreshing

Full open bar curated for both traditional and modern preferences

And of course, our guest of honor did not disappoint—Titi was draped in a fully customized Swarovski crystal gown designed by none other than Afrik Couture, shimmering with elegance and celebrating her radiance.


This surprise bash wasn’t the only celebration in store, just days later, Titi and 12 of her closest friends jetted off to Ikos Andalusia in Marbella, Spain for an intimate destination birthday retreat planned once again by the TOJ team.
We designed the local 40th bash as a high-energy celebration of community and culture, while the Marbella experience offered a more intimate and luxurious travel-focused celebration. Together, the events created a dynamic, multi-layered birthday experience that reflected all the sides of who Titi is, a loving wife, loyal friend, stylish icon, and joy-bringer.
